A dog will have seizures for many reasons. I thought this site was a good place to start: http://www.canine-epilepsy.com/Why.html

That's so sad. :( I'm sorry to hear about your loss.

:D Please, David, be my dog! I'll be your angel. I'll take you for nice long walks, I'll play with you, and I'll never chain you!

:evilbat: Maybe these people need a good dousing in the sewer to straighten them up. Maybe even see the shrink instead of going to "animal control classes." Who needs to go to school to learn that drowning is cruelty to animals?

That's pretty funny! :P :D

Canine arrythmia is erratic, abnormal heartbeats in the lower chambers of the heart. Instead of the normal pacemaker sending regular electric signals, there is no set pattern to the signals and therefore the heart seems to contract and relax spasmodically. Arrythmia can come and go. The symptoms include dizziness, weakness, and exercise intolerance. Boxers seem to be the most susceptible to this disease.

Great story! I am so happy for you, Nev! :D

I remember that our dog got really sick after eating cat food, and his symptoms were the same as you described your dog having. What I did was stop feeding him and let the cat food work out of his system. After about two days he was back to normal. I hope that your dog gets to feeling better soon! :(

I have some medical experience that I got before realizing I wanted to go into bookkeeping. Several of my friends have suggested studying up on doggie health so that I could offer tips to people with dog health problems. Any suggestions out there? :D
