1.
Finnish Spitz, Norwegian Elkhound, Shiba Inu, American Eskimodog, Keeshond, Pomeranian, Schipperke (I'm not so sure about this one. )
my royal canine dog encyclopedia says that (in order from largest to smallest) European/German Spitz volpino italiano (i assume this is a std. spitz?? 11lb) keeshond (wolfspitz 44lb) giant spitz (grosspitz ?lb) standard spitz (mittlespitz ?lb) small spitz (kleinspitz ?lb) toy spitz aka pomeranian (zwergspitz 8 lb) Asian Spitz Japanese spitz (22lb) Eurasian (chow chow wolfspitz 40-70lb) akita (55lb) shiba inu (related to asian spitz) Nordic Spitz swedish lapphund (33-44lb) Finnish spitz (51-60lb) samoyd (artic spitz 37-66lb) greenland dog (polar spitz 66lb) laika (44-66) karelian bear dog (related to laika) spitz type breeds: norwegian elkhound (44-55lb) lundehund(13-15lb) norbottenspets (22lb) norwegian buhund (26-40lb) iceland dog (22-33lb) finnish lapphund (55lb) im sure you wanted to know this  but it is what my book says oh and there are a few breeds like the Schipperke and the mudi that they say look like spitz and could possibly be but are not as far as they know. oh and (only for german spitz) they are lively, alert, robust dogs. by nature is calm and independent. forms stron bond w/ owner and makes an affectionate though sometimes jelous pet. courageous, vigilant, and wary of strangers, the wolfspitz in particular is a good guard dog. spitz can be agressive twards other dogs.

5. my last message board thing i left about my puppy roxy was called "i came here about 5 months ago" well just this last weekend we got the 4 sisters together and omg! it is indescribeble you will have to see for yourselves. also i dont know what the mom is anymore because two of the people said she was a large breed dog and the dad must have been shih tzu. but i think the humane society will just make up stories so you will buy the dogs cause we all had diffrent stories about how the pups got there in the first place. well here are the pics..... okay for some reason photo bucket is down so i will get the pics up asap but you will all be surprised sailordragon87
6.
Huskies are not the only breed with blue eyes. Border Collies and Great Danes have blue eyes, as do Catahoula Leopard dogs. The dog looks like an Australian Kelpie to me.
aussies and cattle dogs have blue eyes too. what every the pup is it's gorgous! very lucky... sailordragon87

10. the pups came in the day before and the farmer that brought them in said it was his shih tzu that gave birth to them. we are going to meet her siblings, maybe, we are organizing a meeting for the 4 pups weither they decide to come or not but it'll be fun. *they said roxy was the runt and she was the one pup who crawled up in to the dash board so they almost had to tear apart the guys car, but the got her out alright.* i will say how the reuniting of the pups goes maybe with some pictures???? sailordragon87
11. all the brittanys i have seen have wavy coats that are a bit course sailordragn87
12. well, she is part chow, maybe that is what you see in the ears?.... she has a black spot on her tounge. shes about i think they said 78 lbs. and her coat is like a britteny's, it is curly and about 3 inches long except for feathering on the legs and hind end. she is as big and a samoyed, and the spots on her back are about 5 inches in diameter. sailordragon87 oh and i can get better pictures up this weekend if needed....
13. this is my friends dog was said to be a great pyrenees but i think it looks nothing like the pyrenees but more like a samoyed maybe?.... she had markings of a brittany spaniel. it is a orngeish cream color spots and freckels on her nose. if you need a better picture i can get one but not till after sat. thanks, sailordragon87
14. you know you could get an aussie. they are probibly as hyper as a bc but they are sweet and my friend just got one (it is about 6 years old) but she is so smart and obeys and is ready to go out when you are. a cavalier king charles they are sweet and they are between 15-20 lbs. scottie dogs are cool!(scottish terrier)..... i think anyway. they are friendly dogs and about 18-20 lbs. and they are just sooo cool :D lol but really i would prefer a mutt like mine :D shih tzu border collie mix shes hyper and still growing! sailordragon87
15.
Those lucky people are meeting in Iowa. I wish I could go.
they are just meeting for the fun of it?? or is there a big dog show? where in iowa are they going? "i just hope roxy has some of the shih tzu genes and stays less then 30 lbs. *crossing fingers* we wanted a small dog because we had a bichon frise for 16 years before, so we like little dogs. lol" thanks again, cassie
16. allamericanPUP, what is the counter for dogo goes to iowa? just wondering cause i live in iowa. also i just seen on pet stars with mario lopez a short haired bc and she had the markings on her face like mine but a completely black body sailordragon87
17. i would like to own a great pyrenees someday........ :) so sweet and beautiful. sailordragon87
18. okay just got her weighed again and she is 19 lbs. and 4 oz. at about 6 1/2 months old. i think she may be border collie too. because i work at a dog kennel called critter camp, and we get alot of bc's and other dogs but anyway she does remind me of the way they act. sailordragon87
19. wouldn't a border collie be to big for a female shih tzu......?
Knowing a little about Border Collies, I would say that there is definately BC in her. She is a very cute dog.
shes already 5 months old wouldn't you think if she was part bc she would be a bit bigger by now? i should go have her weight checked agagin though cause it was a while ago (when she got fixed) that she was weighed. i will find out how much she weighs soon and get back to you an updated weight. thanks you guys for helping me out (she did hace big paws for a puppie....) sailordragon87
20. yeah she does look like a mini oddball (thats the aussies name) i will put up a pic of them playing together but i cant find in right now. but he is mostly white with a merle spot(merle is the blueish grey spot right?) and a few brown spots and a few black spots (to tell you the trouth he doesnt really look like the austrailian sheperds i know). when i find the pic i will get it up they are just so cute together! :D sailordragon87
21. i would be a mutt.... then i can be more then one dog at once and be really cute! lol sailordragon87
22. i have a puppie t is a shih tzu mix. when i first came here in feb. i was thinking jr terrier shih tzu mix but hard to tell at young age. well not she is 5 months old and well she a 15 lb. something or other. someone just recently told me she look like a border collie!? she is a humane society dog and they said the mom is deffinatly shih tzu (two of her sisters turned out shih tzu) well anyway just want to know what you guys think. she is 15 lbs. and i have a dog encyclopedia (royal canine) that says the biggest a jr terrier can get is 15.5 lbs. so idk.... she digs like no other, the smartest dog i've ever met, she does hurd the ducks and guinea pigs, and she thinks shes the 'big dog' on campus (her best friend who she can tackle is a aussie that is deaf and partially blind) oh and her name is roxy, thanks, cassie this is her at 7 weeks old this is her at 5 months old sorry the pictures are so big (dont know how to make 'em smaller at the moment)
23. hey look at my cute little squirt! i found her at a animal shelter, she's a shih tzu, pr terrior mix cassie
24. i had a bichon frise for 15 years (sadly past away in oct.) but she was the best dog, they can be left home alone for short periods. not hyper, usually quiet (mine was, only barked at the mail man) need grooming but you dont have to do it monthly (depeding on how short you start the coat off with) mine we groomed her in fall and spring(never looked like those big poofy bichons at the dog shows but it was good enough) also they love attention they are great dogs, love walks when able to give them, they are good with kids, pacient. and for an appt dog the dont need much room, and i think bostons are way to hyper (unless you can train them cause my friends didnt and he is psycotic) just my opinion. cassie
25. i think mine has A.D.D. she has so many toys for a puppy she goes from one to another to another until she gets tired and her eyes and nose turns red!! and sometimes she doesn't know what to play with so she sits their and barks lol shes so goofy!! debbie, on the message board "she's 11 weeks still think she is a pr terrior" you asked how buch she weighed and i said she weighed 6lb 13 oz and her 10 week shot. what do you think? cassie
