1. Nea: I have a few pix of the two dogs and I think one or two of just Gordie the Flattie by himself. I know for a fact that she got him from some kennel in China..but I have NO idea which one!! Sorry. I could ask her for ya if you're really determined to know. *LOL* I have to find where I uploaded the pix..or you could PM me and I could give ya the site their on. :D Shehanigans99: Heyy! Great to have you and welcome to Dogo!! Your babies are both adorable! :) Everyone's pictures were lovely. Thanks!
2. Thanks for the link, those pembrokes are sooo cute. :D The 3 of yours look very happy and content to be where they are. :D Ok I'm noticing some different colours among yours. Is there a special name for the different shades Pembrokes come in?? Because I see that one of your corgis is kind of darkish and the other is almost butterscotch coloured. Any explanation? Have to say that confused me.
3. Hi there ! You all seemingly have very beautiful breeds but I have yet to know for certain..since I have not seen any pix. ;) Except of DAL's dogs, none of you guys are off the hook! PS, DAL your babies are gorgeous. :D So whoever can and wants to post pix..please do so in this thread too. I'm sure to see what all these wonderful mutts look like and the purebreds too. Mutts4Me that means you..as a fellow mutt person I am deeply interested in seeing your dogs. :) Hmmm..Hey! How are you? I didn't know you owned a kennel. Does that mean you also breed and show your APBTs?:D:D Nea..Flatties are sooo awesome in my books! I have yet to meet one in person. But my sister, who lives in China (before that Sweden and soon she will be living in Ireland) has one and sends me pix weekly now. They also have a Airedale Terrier. Their names are Munchie & Gordie. I would love to pick your brain about your flattie in order to help my sister. Do ya mind?! Webster is a great name, btw. :) Have a good one all!
4. Hiya Aonir!!!
Amaya - an American Eskimo. Got her August last year.. Her 1 year bday is June 10!
I love eskies! They are so cute and fluffy, He he he! You know that a dog's first birthday has got to be really special, don'tcha? I say you get Jeff and his g/f to make you a birthday cake for Amaya. They look delicious from what I've seen! :D Is that Amaya in your avatar? Who ever that Eskie pup is she/he is adorable!! Do you have any pix of your girl to share? I'd LOVE to see some!! :)
5.
Kyle (son) the dogs are easier to get along with...(teenager)
*LOL* I couldn't have said it better myself. Right now, me and my fianc
6. Sorry, guys..but I've been here for a little while now and still don't know what half of you own. Mind listing your dogs breeds and names here?? :D
7. I have a friend who feeds it and would probably swear by it. He says that he thinks it is the best type of food other than the BARF diet. Hmm. :question1:
8. Any owners out there who want to gab about their breed? :D:D
9. Any owners out there?? Please speak up or forever hold yer peace!!!:wink:
10.:lol::lol: ROFL!!!!:lol::lol: Doggy Style! He he he! That actually would be a GREAT name..if people like me didn't take it the wrong way. He he, sorry!! But that name would be pretty cool. I think it would be great for grooming biz. Do you still have that biz or did you decide against it??
11. Okay. K is excellent at sit-staying and I can probably get her to just sit there for about 5 minutes, as long as she sees there's a treat and she'll be rewarded. But down-stay...that's a whole other ball game! She just refuses to do it. I put her in down and the minute she hears "stay", she goes into sit position. How do you teach a dog "down-stay"?? :-?
12.
A Day of Pet's 'N' Play? (still trying to start with an "A")
Courtnek! You are a genius! I loved all of your suggestions! Thanks so much for participating and letting me know of your utter brilliance. Those suggestions were AWESOME!! I especially loved the one I quoted above. Sheer genius! Well done!!! "A Day of Pets 'N Play" gosh I looove it! I think that may just be the name I stick with. But I'm gonna look a bit more. Thnx so much!!! :D:D
13.
I like "A Dog's Day out"....that's catchy....
Me too! That's what I liked so much about it! But then I realized that I will probably be "babysitting" a lot of animals other than just dogs. Obviously that will be my main focus...but still, I thought maybe a title that tells everything would be better. I've already sitted a parrot and his friend, Pringles the Cat. I also got a phone call this morning for some one who was wondering if I could watch their iguana for a couple of weeks while they went on a business venture. :o So I wanted to change it into "A Pet's Day out" but then I realized it just doesn't flow the way "A dog's day out" does. :( Which I think really STINKS!!! So if anyone has suggestions on a name that has pets in it or basically hints at numerous kinds of species..I'm all ears. :D:P That means you, Horsefeathers!!!;);)
14. Oh gosh, are they ever cute!! I'm now contemplating whether or not I need a Belgian Malinois. Sorry..I guess I must be the only one here but..what's "French Ring Sport"? And...which puppy is Harry there? They both look so alike, I can't tell. Did you ever mix them up? They both are like darlings!! :D :D
15. Hi Horsefeathers!!! We have the yellow pages here in Canada too! I'm guessing its made its way around. Thanks for the ideas and suggestion! I'll be sure to use a name with A...and actually, about that, I looove your idea!!!! Do you mind if I use it? I like "A Dog's Day out". It doesn't have to be just walking it could be pooper scoopering and stuff too..that's why I LOVE it!!! I might change it a little to "A Pet's Day out" or some thing along those lines. Do ya care?? Thanks bunches dear! :D:D
16.:lol::lol: LMBO!:lol::lol: That was great thanks so much for sharing, Jeff! I have to comment on Kira's voice though..it sounds so seductive. ROFL!! And her position on the couch? Hubba hubba!! She's gonna drive all the male dogs on this forum WILD!!!:D
17.
Hey!! How's Bussiness going> sorry i'm not creative at all.. lol no help from me
Hiya! No need to apologize - there are probably tons of people on this site who will fill in where ya couldn't. No biggie! Thanks for asking about business. Its umm okay! *LOL* I don't know why its not going all that good. I'm waiting to make a business card and flyers until I get my company name of course. I'm planning on have two people work for me: Kevin, my fianc

Chewing!?

K is no spring chicken, she's 7 years old and she has been chewing things up like a maniac lately. Kevin left his favorite shoes by our bedside and when he came back into the room they were in pieces. Not only does she chew them, they're gone in like 60 seconds. :-? I don't know what to do. Yeah, I know..try to remove objects that she is chewing. But when I catch her chewing how should I go about it? What should I do? TIA. :)
19. I'm starting a pet walking, sitting, and pooper scoopering business. I really need a catchy business name. Any ideas? :D
20. If you don't want to be called a troll, then why are your actions so troll-ish? In two seperate threads, you have attacked several different breeds. Yes, you are entitled to your opinion and have the right to voice it...but all over the world we all have some thing called being polite. Many people here own Pits (which you called names in the other thread) and others have Labs, myself included. None of us appreciate you bashing our breeds. Perhaps these two breeds are trash to you...so what? They are treasure to us. I think you should re-think posting rude things about other people's breeds. Put yourself in our positions. I would never make fun of your breed...because I'd like to think of myself as civilized. Just quit with the dumb, pointless posts. Didn't your mother teach you.."If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."
21. I have a mixed breed named Kyra. She is a mix between a Lab and doG knows what else. I love her to pieces! Although, mutts don't escape all diseases and such. Kyra was recently said to have arthritis and hip dysplasia. Arthritis any dog could get...but I have heard that hip dysp is very common in Labs. I guess she earned that through one of her parents. Too bad stuff like that can get passed on.
22. *Pants* I...came...as...fast...as...I...heard. You all should know that the minute the two words, "Australian Shepherd" are uttered that I am going to be around to comment. I looove Aussies!! I have promised myself over and over that my next breed of dog will for sure be one. They are sooo cute. Me want, me want!!! He he! :P I really think your Aussie is adorable, Deaf. I bet you two have a great time together!!! I have always wondered what it would be like to own a deaf dog. Was it very hard to train yours? What a cute Aussie you have! I just want to smooch 'em! Would you mind if I picked your brain and asked you questions about Aussies? I've been looking for an Aussie owner to question. He he!
