1. I'm sorry to hear of your loss. If he got out of the enclosed area and no one is known to be at fault for that then there isn't much you could do, although I imagine UPS will pay the cost of a registered Nor. Elkhound. Not that that will make much of a difference. All I can suggest is take your time grieving for your dog before going and getting another one. And maybe see about a lock for the enclosure before then, in case someone else came along and let your dog out for some reason.

2. Ok, wasn't Sej, sane just last week?! Weird, never knew it came on that fast.

I plan to live forever too. I decided to when I was ten. At ten the most logical course of action was to never grow up because mostly, you grow up - you grow old - you die. Therefor I decided to just not grow up all the way, only most way. Very clever, huh?

3. Hmmmmm . . . I suppose I would breed a Standard Poodle with a Barbone.

Suppossing of course I had the expertise and resources to responsible breed, they were registerd CHs, had some working or activity title, were a credit to their breed and of course I had some reason to be breeding in the first place.

4. I left an old T-shirt for them on their bed. They are toy destroyers - they eat them if and the kong they toss high and hard, so the only toys I could leave them with are two large balls. Unfortunately our routine changed just days from the move - new job, new house. Also we have huge, low windows and they can see lots of stuff outside.
Anyway I am tempted to try the Benelyn at this point  but I guess I'll try some peppermint and melatonin and see if that works. And maybe try getting the boxes cleared out, I'm sure that is contributing now that you mention it. Thanks. See you all when I can.

5. Every day I went to work from my old my place I locked the dogs in the kitchen. They were fine.

I moved. Now when I leave them in the new kitchen they bark and bark and bark. I think they are confused and think I've taken them to some strangers house and am going to abondon them there.

Suggestions?

6.
After a ton of research, I've switched all of our dogs to Innova, and she is currently eating Innova puppy.
I know its not breeding related but nice choice in foods, I really liked the changes in my dogs digestive process, coats and weights when I switched to Innova.

7. So I'm moving and the yard is small. We go for walks a couple times a day and such but the dogs do eliminate in the yard sometimes - usually a quick pee before I leave the house and their last trip out for the night. I need a good solution for keeping the yard as ordour free as possible and as easy to clean as possible.

Here is my situation:
-I pick up daily and wash the yard down weekly with a water and bleach or enzyme thingy.
-Zaphod hates to walk in the yard when it has rained so he often pees right by the door which is sheltered by the roof overhang.
-My side fences are wooden, the back fence is going to be constructed this week I think.
-Kavik cocks his leg and pees up on things like the fence, Zaphod doesn't.

So I'm thinking I may:
-Put in an area with some shelter so Zaphod will pee there.
-Put in a peepost.
-Put in a pea gravel area and train them to eliminate there. Has anyone heard of this? How deep should it be? Does it actually help or does it make it worse?

Any suggestions?
