1. Still, you didn't force her to post it did you? She chooses of her own volition what to post? So if she can post about birthdays she can answer people's questions, no? Can I emphasise, tx, that my beef is not with you.

  2. I am just so bloody sick of DAL and her whining and bitching and perhaps I did go out of line a bit. I probably have a little bit more stock invested in that she greatly upset a good friend of mine here on the board with her inane, selfish, insensitive commentary last year who has not forgiven and will not forgive her, and with good reason.

I also know a few other things that I shall not disclose, which make me all the madder about her recent bizarre actions and the lies that are slowly condensing like a big storm cloud over this board.

If it's upsetting you all that much I'll delete it but I still stand by it. Maybe I'll just put it another way: DAL, you need to get help otherwise you'll destroy yourself and everyone around you. Stop acting like a kid, grow up, and take some responsibility for your actions instead of running off and chucking a tantrum. And don't you DARE crosspost. That is a direct contravention of the forum rules. The last thing you need to do is start a forum war... oh but I forgot, you like drama, don't you? 'Specially when it's all about YOU.

Maybe if I bold this it won't go unanswered again?
I'd really like to know where Moose came from... how many times does this question need to be asked? We all know you've been on here, DAL. You've posted in NDR. Please stop this childish behaviour of ignoring people's questions selectively.

  3.
IBK, I respect you entirely, especially in the Just us! usergroup. ROTF But I think calling DAL "one f*cked-up little girl" was pretty inappropriate. I felt that you were being fairly immature yourself by saying such a harsh thing. Everyone is entitled to their opinion -- but I just don't think that kind of insult should be said. :-? .
I don't think it's particularly immature to express a reasoned opinion. It's not a personal attack based on stuff I don't know about; more an opinion I have come to seeing the drivel that has been posted on here, and nothing BUT the stuff that has been posted here. Really, it's a summation of what everyone else has been saying; I just put it a little more succinctly than others. I'm sick of meandering around the crux of what everyone else has been thinking and PMing and not actually writing. Sometimes stuff just has to be said.

  4. I think DP hit the nail on the head.

DAL, you are an immature, attention-seeking little girl trapped in the body of a 23 year-old woman. I hope you take some stock of what DP said.

Where did Moose come from again?

  5.
I was just trying to be helpful by telling by telling her to not read the thread and no matter who it is i would tell my friend to stay away until that person calmed down...i have not posted on many threads that have her disagreeing with any of you for the fact that i dont like to take sides...i was again just trying to help by not making the situation worse...i will let her know that you would like your questions answered by her but i was more than willing to get you the answers by asking her over the phone that way at the question part would be answered and then she can read the rest when wants too
I hope you or DAL don't seriously think I, for one, and probably every other outraged, shocked, upset and disappointed person who has posted in this thread are just going to, quote, "calm down". Posting something as she did and then blabbing to you over the phone because she can't hack a bit of criticism for her very strange behaviour smacks of the rampant immaturity and possible psychological issues that have caused DAL's recent actions to be so harshly criticised. Getting her to answer questions over the phone is so totally removed from fronting up and answering them here like anyone with any integrity and respect for others would do that she may as well not bother.

I know you two are very close and I can respect that you are trying to help but I think in this instance it is more hindrance than anything else.

  6.
She is a big girl but the last time there was a big disagreement the thread got out of control and got locked...she did come on here and see some of the stuff but i dont think she made it to the questions due to her feelings were hurt
Her feelings were hurt? Pleh.

This is a public forum and nobody has held a knife to her throat to make her write her posts.

Besides, if she thinks her feelings are hurt, I imagine it would be nothing compared to how those poor animals will be feeling should any of these Pollyanna decisions happen to materialise.

I would also imagine she has sorely disappointed and hurt the feelings of more than a few people on here with her bullshit.

  7. Christ alive. What words are there in the English language that can express how much respect I *don't* have now for you DAL?

You're all topsy-turvy still about your husband and when he comes home from Iraq, what with all the horrible things he's seen, helping him through that I imagine will be enough of a task in itself.

Neither of you have signed contracts for any solid job offers yet you are moving interstate on a whim. You have plans to buy this house but again, nothing has been signed, so don't be shocked if the house ends up being sold out from under you, which the vendor is well within her rights to do so.

You already have aggression issues with Cody and your parents don't like Zoey. In fact, you don't even like Zoey, something which you've been mighty quiet on lately.

And now you're bringing another dog into all of this chaos.

I hope for the animals' sake I am desperately wrong about all of the above.

Animals are not a susbtitute for your emotional state nor are they to be shifted around like property.

  8. Blitz groans- loudly- with pleasure if you rub his ears. If he's lying down he'll roll over onto that side, if he's standing up he'll practically have the side of the ear you're rubbing on the floor. He also like having his bum (is the base of his tail) scratched. He'll come over and stick his bum in your face when he wants it scratched.

  9.
BK, WTF is your problem?!? :o
All I did was say I wasnt going to say anymore than I did because I didnt feel like arguing with anybody, but what do you do, start one! :x

Im really sick of you picking fights with people.
Picking a fight? All I'm asking you- I'll put it into plain English- is why you feel the need to become so defensive and upset when people disagree with you on a *public* forum. Your above quote is illustrative of this.

If you feel that I am picking a fight, that is your problem. I'm just asking you a question which you have thus far refused to answer. No need to get snarky.

  10.
And thats all Im going to say since I feel like everyones going to go against what I say, just like in the other thread.
Well, it's a public forum and everyone is entitled to an opinion. Whether or not it concurs with your own, and whether you can handle disagreement, is another matter entirely.

For the record, I agree with pyrless.

  11. Supply doesn't exist without demand. So if there are people looking for a certain type of dog then a BYB will step in. So yes, the ignorance of people plays a part, but they wouldn't be able to access a BYB if they didn't exist. They would be forced to shell out a fair bit more cash for a properly bred dog, or look towards breed rescue, or adopt a shelter animal.

  12. Damn skippy people eat kangaroo meat! Kangaroos are plentiful (remember, we are rumoured to ride them to school) and in some areas due to drought and things have had to be culled. It's very lean so it's good for people and for dogs too. Cheap as well. It has a strong flavour though. I'm not a big fan.

  13. If he goes into court and swears an oath and then proceeds to tell the court his dog was on lead, he's committed perjury, especially if there are witnesses, including the police, who will say the dog was off lead. He'd be in more trouble doing that than he would otherwise. Could you sue for trespass to goods as well? :P
