Most guess at german sheppard or some sort of wolfhound before I'm able to tell them he's a collie. [/SIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Tahoma][SIZE=2]He's five. Came from a conformation breeder in Kentucky that ran into some trouble and wound up surrendering most or all of their dogs to an Illinois rescue group this year. [/SIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Tahoma][SIZE=2]Bare has been with us for a little over month now. At five he is energetic enough to keep up with our eight year old son and the neighborhood kids yet calm around the house in general. (a 65 lb couch potato most of the day, really)[/SIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Tahoma][SIZE=2]He's a quick study and adapted to family life really quickly, including new things for him like living with (and not pouncing on) our two year old cat. House training was perfected in a matter of days.[/SIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Tahoma][SIZE=2]Sheds like crazy is about the only drawback to this version of the breed I can think of. The temperament and personality do far more than just overshadow a little extra work for the vacuum cleaner. [/SIZE][/FONT]
