i HAVE SIGNED THIS PETITION AND STRONGLY ADVICE OTHERS TO DO THE SAME........

Having just read the post above i feel quite angry, why are we letting people breed and keep dogs in this appauling manner, we should have these places shut down and rehome the animals, poor things, how cruel can man be to their fellow earth beings, they have a heart the same as us and believe me they love and feel just like we do........ what can we do to stop this terrible practice from carrying on..........HELP THEM :( :(

:lol: hello, i have pictures of them but i have not got a digital camera yet arrrr but the eldest is black she is a supreme champion, i have two fawn ogs and three other black ones, guess u realise i like black ey :lol: my latest little dog is blue and she is the apple of my eye, the dog with a bad back is light brindled....... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

:lol: hello, just thought i would tell you what we use to worm our dogs and that is Drontil Plus from the vets, costly yes but at 23pound to worm 8 dogs i think it aint bad and they work which is what is most important.... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

exercise, well i walk mine three miles a day when racing and rest them the day before and after a race, they socalise very well apart from when i am walking them, then they bark at every other breed of dog :cry: if they see a cat, well they try and pull me through the hedge after it and do you now what them cats down our way wait for me to go out with the dogs and take it in turns to run across the road lol, in the summer i used to take the dogs to the coast for a run on the beach, they jus loved that but can't do so much training now due to work committments, :cry: i take the three youngest dogs to work with me and the others just laze about at home enjoying the rest.. they are not left for long periods, that is why i am doing the job i am doing, the dogs come first the job second..... speak to you later bye for now :lol:

Hi, whippets are small site hounds, well i say small it seems that nowadays there are a lot of no limit racing whippets, they have been crossed with a greyhound and can be very big ie. i seen one run and it was 70 lb, silly ey whippets are supposed to be small and range from 16lb to 32lb. we race in classes, upto 20lb, upto24lb, upto28lb and upto32lb. whippets are the most affectionate creature i have ever had the pleasure of owning, they do't smell except when they roll in something yukk and they like to do that so they have a bath regular.. we race for championship titles and then the champions run off to attain a supreme title , this happens once a year so is very hard to aquire, whippets are adorable as is most other dogs...........I just love whippets.... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

:D what a lovely welcome, nice to meet you all, we have a whippet who hurt her back whilst coming out of the traps at a race meeting up scotland, she could not stand and was in the vets for a week, when i brought her home i massaged her legs and magna probed her back, one day two weeks later she just got out of her cage and waddled behind me, she still has a slight wobble on her back leg and we know she will never race again but, we are happyand so is she, she still has some quality of life and plays like a puppy, she is 7 years old now and we love her and the others to bits bless em :D :D :D :D

:lol: hello, I have to say how lovely all your dogs look, and does any one know what has happened to the womans dogs, i have eight dogs, little whippets they are and when we go on our holls we take them all with us, they travel very well in the car which is a peugeot estate, must say though that i do draw the line at eight, even though i love the puppys....... :D

:lol: hello, I would just like to introduce myself to you all, my name is Patricia(pat for short) I have eight lovely racing whippets, four of them are retired from racing due to old age and are happy to lay in front of the fire on race days, that is except when we go on our hollidays, then when we have hooked the caravan on to the car the dogs are lined up at the front door whith their leads and coats ready to go.....I am so pleased to meet you all and look forward to posting in Dogomania :lol: 8) :)
