  1. I'll be sure to research more about these dogs. I'm still debating whether to get another dog or not, either way its not going to be anytime soon. Adoption is definitely for more, puppies are cute, but older dogs need love too. Thanks everyone!
  2. After some more research, I'm pretty sure the dog was a bouvier des flandres. He was just a little unkept, but gorgeous. Anyone know any that are being given away in NJ, lol?
  3. Maybe I should be more clear on the color. It was a dark grey, nearly black. Sorry, should have said that. I'm pretty sure it was pure-blood because I was told what its breed was, they didn't say it was a mix of anything. All I can remember it that I think the breed was one word - blast my memory, lol. I know it was not a common breed because I had never heard of it before. The dog definently looked like it was not a show dog just a pet, so it could weigh a little more than it should and they might have let the hair grow out. Oh dear, I think this makes everything more confusing.
  4. I've seen pictures of those sheperds, but the dog doesn't look anything like those. I wish I had a picture, but I was just around for about 15 minutes so I wasn't able to get to know the dog more. I've found some dogs online that kind of looked like it. It looked kind of like a Bouvier des Flandres, but a lot bigger. This dog didn't really have a shape to it, more like a gigantic, quiet ball of frizzy fur. I couldn't even see its face. He was not excitable at all and didn't even care that I was there. [/img]
  5. I'm hoping someone can help me out here. A couple of weeks ago I was at someone's house and they had this gorgeous dog. I asked what the breed was, but of course I forgot - twice. Anyway, the dog was still a puppy, but he was already a large dog. The owner said he was only going to get even bigger. Her friend told me that every week when they first got the dog he would grow a one-third bigger than he was the week before, so he grew pretty quickly. The first thought I had when I saw this dog was that he looked like a bear. He had puffy dark grey hair, very large, and was very quiet. His owner said that he is a quiet dog and very good with kids, completely even-tempered. She also said that he was a kind of Belgian Sheperd, but he didn't look like any that I had ever seen. If anyone knows of any breed this could be please help me out. This has been driving me crazy for weeks. I fell in love with him and would love to research them more!
