abker17
The brindle color makes me think Pit bull. :)
Canis erectus
I'm inclined to say that mom was a Pit Bull or Pit mix myself. I've seen a few Ridgeback/Greyhound mixes and this girl is too burly-looking and probably too small to be such a dog. The big tip-off is that the post occipital part of the skull is way wider than the muzzle, which is more of a mastiff trait rather than hound. But who's to know for sure. A good way to help narrow down possibilities is too take a look at the most common breeds in your area, as they are the most likely to produce mongrel offspring. Also behavior traits, while not a reliable indicator, can sometimes help to pinpoint a mystery parent's breed.
DogPaddle
The snout looks too pointy for pit though doesn't it?
steve
from time to time she will,[ what we like to call talking],a sort of howl/ yawn type noises this goes on for ages once she starts, its quite funny to listen to, the pitch goes up high and deep down low, also she likes to place her paws on us and pull our hands to her, esp in the early morning when shes sneeked up stairs and floped on the bed :D

BananaDogOwner
She's a gorgeous looking dog. I'm going to have to go with greyhound on this one. As said it goes with her overall shape and her features.
