? about the furminator

Anybody heard of this or use it? I use one of those regular rake-type brushes for Kira when she is shedding. A couple people on other boards highly recommend these. Any input dogomaniacs? It sure doesnt look cheap.

Doesnt it look like the teeth are waaay too close together? Geez, it almost looks like it just tears the fur to thin it out as opposed to just getting down to the undercoat. Kinda like those shedding blades, which are more trouble than they are worth imo.

WOW! that is amazing all the hair of that akita.. i wish i could get one for zoey. she sheds nonstop it's comming out in clumps righ tnow and the rake just doesnt get it all..

I bet you would die without it. I can imagine all the fur you see. Have you ever thought of making newfie sweaters from all that fur. :lol:

I've seen people that take dog fur and spin it into yarn and from there create all kinds of things. You would have an endless supply I suppose!
