kingston Posted December 7, 2004 Author Share Posted December 7, 2004 I actually have a poodle Shih tzu mix so the hair is a mix. I had it trimmed down short b/c I was told he still has his baby hair and that it will grow back thicker. He is 8 months old. Someone recommended to keep cutting it short for a while then give him a teddy bear cut. I don't know I think he looks best with the long wild hair but it takes a lot of combing.
