KookieSista18
http://www.petnet.com.au/selectapet/dogselectapet.html A quiz to see what sort of dog suits you.I've got two beautiful Staffordshire Bull Terriers, who I think suit me perfect! But the test suggested a Corgi or Blue Cattle :-? Never would have thought of them, but anyway :D
ellieangel
Yay !!!!!! It said English Springer as my number one :D These things never usually work for me  My top 4 were... ENGLISH SPRINGER SPANIEL -Yup yup yup COCKER SPANIEL-love 'em SCHNAUZER (MINIATURE)-not really me WEST HIGHLAND WHITE TERRIER-hmmm no Still the first 2 were right :)
bk_blue
Rhodesian Ridgeback Weimaraner (yay!!!) Dalmatian (yay again!) Boxer Gotta say that Weims and Dals are two of my favourite breeds. :D
kendalyn
Mine are pretty accurate :-) Golden Retriever Labarador Retriever German Shepherd Dog Old English Sheepdog I love labs. I've never considered a Golden. I am a bit afraid of GSD, but that's something that could easily be fixed. I've always wanted a sheepdog! I was hoping Standard Poodle would be on the list though! __crazy_canine__
I did it for my current living, an apartment... Pug :D Boston Terrier Dachshund (miniature smooth hair) Italian Greyhound ...which all fit me. I LOVE PUGS AND BOSTONS! Greyhound are good too but I dont really care too much for dachshunds. Then I did it how I WISH to live (on a farm)... Australian Kelpie Australian Cattle Dog Welsh Corgi (Cardigan) Welsh Corgi (Pembroke) All of which I love and would do a good job with herding. Then I did how I would live if I were just to live normally  meaning house, yard, but busy life... Whippet Boston Terrier British Bulldog Staffordshire Bull Terrier and that makes me happy because theres bully breeds on that list!!! Sorry for such a long list hee hee just exploring what my future might be.

imported_Kat
BORDER COLLIE ENGLISH SPRINGER SPANIEL SCHNAUZER (MINIATURE) WEST HIGHLAND WHITE TERRIER Whoo hoo Border Collie was the top breed! :D :D :D
courtnek
top of the list was the Lab...who I have a mix of...also mentioned was an Elkhound....Foxhounds never get listed, in any of these tests, and I'm assuming it's because they are based on getting a puppy....and Foxhound puppies need TONS of exercise, and open spaces, cuz they need to run. My girl is 6 years old, was field trialed and basically "run out"...she doesnt have the energy of a young hound anymore...

Guest Anonymous
Great Dane Irish Wolfhound Mastiff Border Terrier I like all of those except the border terrier. I have danes and would love to own a mastiff
Malamum
My four came out as ALASKAN MALAMUTE DEERHOUND IRISH WOLFHOUND BORZOI Well it seems that the Alaskan malamute is for me  I don't really know much at all about the others mentioned. I think tests like that are good for people who don't have a dog and really don't know where to start but for me I find the answers a bit restrictive. For example one of the questions was the coat length however there are some breeds I love that have very short hair and then there are others that have very long hair so no matter what I pick it's going to discount some of the dogs I love. I guess rather than getting a dog that suits me to a T I'm prepared to adapt to meet the dogs needs.
pei obssessed
I didn't get a shar-pei, obviously, because I never do  So I started playing with the choices trying to get a shar-pei :D Eventually it occured to me that there are some choices there that if you clicked, the answer should be: NO dog, get a cat, or a fish. So I say: I'm not able to keep a dog securely on my property, I'm infirm, with small kids, my dog wouldn't excercise at all, I'll be spending under 5$ a week for food. And I get: ITALIAN GREYHOUND PUG WHIPPET BOSTON TERRIER Now there is something wrong with that!

KookieSista18
I was just playing around with this and wondered what it would say if I wanted a GIANT breed. GREAT DANE-Yep,beautiful,always thougt they looked elegant and regal. DALMATION-adorable and(I know this is bad)I always kind of wanted one after seeing 101 dalmations  ROTTWIELER-Muscular and intelligent,my aunty had a gorgeous one and I always loved the breed but then I got a totally unexpected one,not really like any pof the others CORGI-WTF :-? Am I wrong or arent these the LITTLE cute 'queen' dogs?
Queen Bitch
DalmatiAns aren't a giant breed either. (Sorry to nitpick, but I hate seeing Dalmatian spelled wrong, my personal pet peeve. ) I wondered about the odd breed turning up too, I never knew a Boston Terrier was considered a LARGE dog.

Guest Anonymous
Mine were... German Shepherd Curly Coated Retriever Rhodesian Ridgeback Saluki Well, the only breed for me is the APBT, which probably isnt a possibility in this "quiz" anyway. (Its never on any of the quizes!) The only one of these breeds I think I would want would be the RR. I wanted one when I was little before I knew much about APBTs.
Horsefeathers!
COLLIE (ROUGH) OLD ENGLISH SHEEPDOG SAMOYED POODLE (STANDARD) At least Standard Poodles were on the list :D . I like the others, actually, but there's really no way I'd want to own such dogs in our hot, humid Southern climate.
