My beloved horse, Lena

Hopefully it's okay to post a memorial to my horse. Due to severe leg injuries, I had to have her put down on November 1, 2002. She was a very talented, athletic jumper with great potential to take me as far as I wanted to go in showjumping. And she had a heart of gold. She was like a big (huge) puppy dog, and loved getting kisses and hugs. I'll miss her always.

Thanks, Lukapop. I rode western for about 20 years, and switched over to hunters and jumpers about 15 years ago (jumpers being my preference). Now I have a 5 year-old gray Appendix Quarter Horse mare who I have great hopes for to be my next jumping star. I've been out of the show ring since 1997, which was the last year Lena could be shown. I'll be re-entering the show ring doing the baby hunters with my green mare.
