Guest Anonymous
I was watching the Behind the Sceens of Good Charlotte (a band, in case you didn't know) and their one song "Wondering" was actually inspired by the one guys dog! LOL! It sounds like a love song, but if you think about it, yeah, could be about a dog too! The Lyrics are... "Wondering" If you want me to wait I would wait for you If you tell me to stay I would stay right through If you don't wanna say Anything at all I'm happy wondering Go! Yeah, yeah Since I was a young man I never was a frontman I never had a plan and no security then Ever since I met you I never could forget you I only get you right here next to me Cause everybody (a-whoa-oh-oh) Needs someone that they can trust in And you're somebody (a-whoa-oh-oh) That I found just in time If you want me to wait I would wait for you If you tell me to stay I would stay right through If you don't wanna say Anything at all I'm happy wondering Now my life is changing It's always rearranging Always gettin' stranger than I thought it ever could Ever since I found you I wanna be around you I wanna get down to the point that I need you Cause everybody (a-whoa-oh-oh) Needs someone that they can trust in And you're somebody (a-whoa-oh-oh) That I found just in time If you want me to wait I would wait for you If you tell me to stay I would stay right through If you don't wanna say Anything at all I'm happy wondering Go! Yeah, yeah Yeah, yeah Don't tell me The bad news Don't tell me anything at all Just tell me That you need me And stay right here with me If you want me to wait I would wait for you If you tell me to stay I would stay right through If you don't wanna say Anything at all I'm happy wondering If you want me to wait I would wait for you If you tell me to stay I would stay right through If you don't wanna say Anything at all I'm happy wondering Just a little doggy info thought you might find interesting... I did! LOL
Cheetah
wow...I never would have thought that song was about a dog, gives me a whole new perspective! I always assumed it was a love song, like you said. It's funny though cuz that guy's up there singing about his dog, and everyone's crying along with it relating it to their girl/boyfriend!

Guest Anonymous
Yeah, it was one of my fave songs, then I watched that, and like it so much more now! Yeah, on the GC CD, if you put it on your comp (and if you have Quick Time) it has that on there... and it's funny cuz a lot of the shots on there shows them haning out in their van and such, and he's always got his boxer curled up on his lap! SO cute!! :D
Prairie_Gurl
It is a luv song... a luv song to his doggy!!!! LOL. I luv the lyrics, they put um together pretty nicely. Once, in school, we had to write a poem that we could put to music... there were 20 students and 15 of us wrote um about our dogs. It was pretty funny. courtnek
Here's another one for you - Barry Manilow wrote "Mandy" and everyone thought it was a love song - it was about his dog. "Oh Mandy, well you came and you gave without taking, and I sent you away.... Oh Mandy, you kissed me and stopped me from shaking, and I need you today! Oh Mandy....." He wrote it after Mandy passed away and he was having a really hard time dealing with it. He spent so much time on the road that he really didnt have enough time to pay attention to her, and when she passed on he realized how much he missed her....
