1. Look at what I miss when I'm not here during the day! What am I doing anyway? Oh wait.....a job. My life sucks..... And I'm a brunette......sheesh.....
2. Oh no, FDF......you can get them LOTS Of places! Just Google them!
3. I would have taped it too! Now she's a TV celebrity! Don't forget us little people here at Dogo, Sydney!
4. I was at our Petco party today. Tater and PoGo went as rock stars. I put pink and blue in their crests, had them wear little ripped up tank tops. Put some chains around their necks. They also had little bangles on their back legs with streamers. They didn't win but they sure looked cute trying! I liked the goody bags! Mine were cute!
5. I've used the feline one (Feliway). Same company. It worked really well for my cat!
6. Okay....I let this thread slide like two days ago..... Had to catch up like 10 pages....but man!! It's so worth it!! LMFAO This is toooo good! I'm dying over here!
7. I think it's wonderful! It's done a great job on the boys. They look faboo! I just got the small one.....that way I can also use it on the cats. I just have to spend al ittle more time on the boys when I do it....but who cares! I'm very happy with it!!
8. He sounds amazing....i can't WAIT for pictures!
9. A lot of dogs just have extra pigment on their tounges too....it doesn't mean anything (like they aren't a purebred or they have to be a mix with chow in them). it's just a freckle!
10. Totally get the media involved. Does your local news stations have an 'On Your Side" type thing? Contact them, pronto!
11. Coming in late on this one. We have four males. Two being the GSDs and two being the Cresteds. The GSDs are 6 months apart (4 1/2 and 5 years), one crested is 1 year and the other crested is 8 years. The GSDs get 'snotty' with each other. I don't tolerate it. Jeremy and I are boss in our house and WE pay the vet bills. So, no nastiness allowed. No rough play that can turn aggressive. And you can tell if it will go that way. There is just this sound.....it's obvious here. So eveyone gets a sharp, "EH" and a stern look and they all retreat to their seperate corners. PoGo (the youngest one) is by far the snottiest. He just torments the GSDs to no end. He steals toys and treats right out of their mouths. He's the devil. Tater is very quiet, but don't get NEAR him when he's eating. He'll turn into the exorcist. He doens't want any animal around him.....even the cats are a no go. I think the four years in the puppy mill made him this way about his food. Everyone knows to eat from their own bowl and not to bother anyone else at all. Period. Tater is a slow eater due to his lack of teeth, but no one bothers him anymore. PoGo wolfs down his food first, but knows to sit on his mat until the GSDs finish their food (which isn't too far behind him). Then the three of them can go lick each other's bowls out, but still.....no one is allowed to go near Tater. I think as long as you keep things very structured and routined, you should do well. Everyday, everyone gets let outside the same way and they get fed the same way. It's just a habit now and they can follow it if it's repeated. Good luck and keep us updated!
12. Looks very similar to my Dakota (GSD)
13. It's on the way! Got it off of E-bay.....so I'm happy with the price!!! I'm excited to use it......I have rakes and blades and everything. My next step is to shave the GSDs bald like the Cresties.
14.   This is awful.....I'm sorry if anyone else posted this.....   http://www.villagevoice.com/news/0534,shaftel,67093,5.html
15. Well.....I'm a big sobbing snot ball right about now...... What a beautiful reunion!
16. Came in late......but still want to know what went on!!
17. We went from three to four in April. Wasn't that bad! I'll just echo what everyone has already said.....so really not point in writing it all over again! Just keep us updated as to what you decide. Where's HF when ya need her!
18. Hunter and Dakota both passed today! I was soooo proud of them!! I needed to get it done because our homeowners association has the GSD listed as a viscious breed (along with any bully breed, rotties, dobes, boxers, and chows) Even though we moved in 5 months before the HOA was put into place, if they ever come down on us, we have this as well. So poo on them!
19. I would love to have a doggie door. But my boys would be obnoxious all day. They are VERY vocal to everyone who walks past the house (but again, they are GSDs.....so I'd expect it). And, I have cats and the do NOT go outside. So both of those things just make it difficult to have one.
20. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! He's freaking adorable!!!!
21.
. Its like us trying to wrestle with our arms tied behind our backs. Can you imagine how long that would take to claim a winner?.
Unless I was wrestling a guy and I just kicked him in the balls..... Then I'd win! :D
22. Mouse.....I am so sorry. Tonight, I will light a candle to help guide sweet Gladis on her journey to the bridge.
23.
it doesnt preserve gameness and whats a dog without its teeth?
When I would assist with K9 training, we'd muzzle the dogs on several occasions when they were doing take downs. This shows the dog he/she has to learn to not depend on JUST teeth. They need to use the force of their body and their paws/legs to assist them. And a 70 pound Malinois hitting you in the kidneys is going to drop you like a brick!!! :D
