3. Travis is the most handsome one there! He has all my votes!!!
4. Bobbie just had a bad episode of something like that. He had diarrhea for two days then started pooping just blood for a day and started to refuse food and vomit water. I took him to the emergency vet. They continued to fast him and put him on IV. He was dehydrated and lost blood and 5 lbs. They put him on meds and a special diet (Medical) and he was okay to come home a day later. Still don
5.
How about Icelandic name?  I thinks no one likes them...
I like Galdur!
6. I work at a boarding kennel and everyone has Labs and Goldens and everyone goes on about how they are such great family pets and great with kids. I know there are a lot of qualities about both breeds that make them good family pets but all I see is rambunctious untrained big dogs jumping up and knocking kids to the ground and making them cry. It happens all the time in our office. I can't think of a particular breed that is good with kids really. A well trained, socialized any breed can make a perfect family pet. I would get an adult dog from the shelter because WYSIWYG. I just rescued the perfect dog in December but you can't have him.
7. You are going to have to put a lot of effort into training. Both breeds are not easy unless somehow you got lucky, but the work will pay off. There is nothing compared to a well trained/behaved German Shepherd or Sibe I'm sure. I bet he'll be talkative LOL
8.
NAPOLEON! Little guy with a BIG attitude...
I had a dog named Napoleon, a minature poodle. Some names I like are: Raiser Pilot Fury Navy Zero Idol K9 Rosco Brit Byte Sharkie
9. Here are some articles that you might be interested in (below). I have never used one but have thought about it. I have seen an ecollar do miracles for someone I know with a dog aggressive GSD. He is very well behaved around other dogs now, no more barking and lunging on the leash. I would find a good trainer that could teach you how to use it properly and don't buy a cheap ecollar. (Tritronics is a good one.) The one reason I haven't really pursed an ecollar with Magic for her dog aggression is because she is hummm how to put it, has weak nerves and is mentally unstable normally so I wouldn't want to make the slightest mistake and screw her up anymore than she already is. Having said that I don't know if that could happen with an ecollar, I have never put much effort into researching them... http://www.finographics.com/schutzhund/obedience/ecollarwork.html
10. crazy I didn't and still don't smell any fish at all.
11. Loki it never ever smelt like fish to me not even now. :-?
12. This is probably my 4th or 5th large bag. (I started feeding it in the beginning of November). Before it smelt pretty good to me (humm how to describe it) like baked... chocolate chip muffins? I know it sounds weird but it smelt like something baked and sweet. Now it smells acidicy, like tomatoes, there is also a lot of crumble with the kibble, more than usual. Seems more oily too. I know for sure it smells totally different. I will email natura to see what they say.
13. TDG - you know how they say you shouldn't feed kibble and raw meat in the same feeding? Is it different with EVO because it's like a raw kibble?
14. hummmm I bought a new bag a few days ago and it smells a lot different then the other ones. Is it just me? Does that mean anything?
15. Just wanted to post a picture of a Dutch Shepherd for you to compare. What do you think? Actually here's the whole website http://www.springfallsshepherds.net/
16. I think he's a Dutchie. He is so handsome! :)

I think you would have to look long and hard for a good breeder. I find many to have lots of health problems, dog aggressiveness and are not the most intelligent. However I know that all breeds are great dogs you just have to know where to get them. I think finding the right breeder would be tough tho!
18. ***Crossposted with permission; please pass this info along to others.*** Attention all Dog people out there. Yesterday 01-20-05 a litter of 12 Bingo vd Abfuhr (2X WUSV competitor) puppies were stolen out of a garage in Escondido California. Escondido is in San Diego County. The puppies are 6 weeks old and are all bi-colored black and tans. There are no suspects or any solid leads at this time. The breeder is beside himself and will pay a reward to get them back. It would be wonderful if everyone who gets this email will forward it to everyone on their email lists regardless of where they live in the country. With enough exposure it may help in locating these wonderful puppies that were so carefully bred and raised. It would be great if someone in the press did a story on the theft. Hopefully they are still in the San Diego area and haven't been taken into Mexico. Photos of the puppies for identification purposes are available. If you have any information that could help please contact the breeder Christian Ellis at 619-279-6343 or John Riboni (Bingo's owner) at [email protected] PLEASE CROSSPOST EVERYWHERE!!!
