Last night, right after she growled at the cat, I called her to come upstairs. She didn't come so I went over to her and said ''Abby, come upstairs.'' in a stern voice. Then she growled at me! I've had Abby for 2 and a half years and that was the first time she had growled at me. Then she slowly got up and sulked up the stairs. I think she was grouchy yesterday because she's been fine this morning. I [u]hope[/u] that she was just grouchy. :roll:

Abby, just now as I was reading new posts, growled at my moms 17 yr. old cat. She was laying there sorta lookin' around and when the cat walked by she growled real deep in her throat. She's never done this before. :-? Usually she just picks on the cats, sorta makin fun of them. Should I be worried?

U are not a bad owner rowie! Shouldn't the vet be able to remove the ticks that are on her now? Letting them stay on will start to make her weak. :( See if the vet can take them off. Best of luck! I'll keep U and your pooch in my prayers. :)

My mom walked out of the room for just a minute, a when she came back, SUPRISE! Abby plays very rough. She is gentle with Cracker though. She lets Cracker think she is stronger. I cannot let Abby off leash because if she sees another dog she will take off, and not listen to my commands. We are working on come. She has a lot of work to do, and I've been training every day. Sometimes she's so stuborn. :roll: But I can't stay mad at her for long. I think everyone knows what I mean. :wink:

I'm so sorry to hear what happened to U :( I would definatley have him checked out by the vet. Is he on any medicene? When we put our malamute mix on steroids for her allergies she bacame more aggressive and lunged at me a couple times. Keep us updated, and don't give up hope.

Once, after my mom had told Cracker repeatedly to get off the bed, she got mad and, excuse my choice of words, pooped on the bed. The bed had my grandmother's hand made quilt on top of it. My mom got so upset. Luckily, we got the stain out. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one with bad attitude pups! :lol:

On one of my other dog forums, someone posted a comment complaining about IAMS. They listed a link to [url]www.peta.org[/url]. On this site there is a vidio showing dogs being tested on by the IAMS company, the dogs are not in good conditions, and looking quite unwell. It is heartbreaking that people can be so cruel. :cry: Please check out this video and STOP BUYING IAMS PRODUCTS!!!!!!! Please help me spread the message about this. :( U can post the site at other dog forums and tell fellow dog and cat lovers about this. If we pull together we can stop this cruelity.

Do U have any way of reaching his owners? Next time they should leave a number with you in case something like this happens again. How long will the owners be gone? Make sure when the dog's owners get back they take him to the vet. My heart goes out to the puppy and you. This is a difficult situation. :-? Make sure to update us on how it's going.

I can't wait to see those pics. Once when I took Abby to the park she found a gopher under a supply shed. She spent about an hour digging around the sides of the shed. By the time we went home she was filthy! I had to sit outside combing and washing out the dirt for at least an hour and a half. :roll: But, U know, dogs will be dogs. :wink:

Sorry, I just wanted to clarify that Abby does exactly what Marble's dog does.

That is soooo wild. My BC mix does EXACTLY, I mean exactly what U described your dog doing. I don't think Abby's is gender related though. Abby is very dominant, so maybe it's a dominance thing.
