Beautiful Brittany/Lab needs home

I have a brittany/lab mix, Loki (named for a mytholigical Norse God of mischief), and he is in need of a loving home. I adopted him from The Humane Society, where he has actually lived his whole life. I adopted him at 11 mos. I'm deeply in love with him though sadly it hasn't been long. I've had him for two months. I was in a place to give him a wonderful home and there were no reasons to believe otherwise. Unfortunately I just recieved some new information from work that will prompt me to have to attend college. I will be starting within the next 6 mos. and know that in his best interest I shoould find him a home to adjust to sooner rather than later, it would be harder for us both to wait. I work full-time and will barely be able to manage myself once I start school. I hate this but it's right for him.
Loki is high energy but a sweetheart to the core. With his enregy and being so young he'd be best in a home without small children and cats He's never shown any aggression towards people or other dogs. He is grasping the concept of listening but still needs more time and patience towards obedience. Loki is fully housetrained and getting better on the leash everyday. I would love to see him go to a home with lots of room, maybe in the country, he loves to run. But he has it in him to be a great hunter as well, being a mix of two great hunting breeds. He's not shown any shyness around loud noises so I think he'd be a good gundog. Please consider my baby. He's all love and cuddles. 50 lbs. about 13-14 months old Have pictures, just need to figure out how to post them.....
