Pit Bull Ban Reconsidered
Denver- Officials are reviewing the city's vicious and dangerous dog ordinance in what could lead to a proposal to lift the ban on pit bulls. Officials said they planned to research laws nationwide and study alternatives aimed at penalizing owners for a dogs misbehavior. Options include requiring a license or permit with strict stipulations for owners on how a pit bull is to be kept; requiring owners to carry liability insurance; and stiff fines for owners whose dogs are caught roaming freely.

Wonder if they'll return the dogs they snatched out of homes?

they are losing revenue, thats the point. I have seen petitions from people encouraging tourists to not stay there, to not shop there, to
not use any of their services or buy any of their goods....

it wont help the dogs now gone, but this has high billing in dog socieities
and news coverage. if they repeal it, they've lost. and the whole country (and world) will see the stupidity (and the potential fallout) of BSL.
