‘DOGSHOWUSA.COM’ THROWS YOU A BONE THIS THANKSGIVING Proud pet owners can enter their average mutts into this online broadband competition presented by NBC Universal Digital Media  The moment has come for proud dog owners everywhere to show the digital world what their dog can do. “DogShowUSA.com” gives America’s best friends the opportunity to take center stage in this first-ever, online-only dog show competition for mutts, purebreds, and crossbreeds alike. Launched in conjunction with “The National Dog Show Presented by Purina”, “Dog Show USA” gives the average dog a chance to strut their stuff and compete for “Best in Show” in addition to a wide range of fun categories including “Cutest Dog,” “Owner Look-Alike” and “Best Dog Trick.” The broadband site allows participants to load video and photo entries free of charge in a virtual exhibition of canine prowess. To ensure a user-friendly process, “Dog Show USA” web host Kenan Harkin will present a series of “how to” webisodes and conclude with the best moments and behind-the-scenes action. Show dog moms and dads can also enter their pooches through the NBC O&O websites in its 14 markets, where local dog competitions will be open for entries. Contestants will have a chance to win prizes ranging from a year’s supply of Purina dog food to a trip to the 2006 National Dog Show in Philadelphia.
