how on earth could your neighbours get a 3 weeks old puppy ??????? :o :o :o Where did they get it from ???? a pup is supposed to stay with his mum for at least 7 or 8 weeks !!!!! what is it supposed to eat ?????? I really hope this turns out to be a mistake !!!! :evil: :evil:

Last friday we had an ultrasound-scan made and guess what ??????????? Our hovawart Zora is pregnant !!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: if everything goes well, we'll have a second litter around 15/06.... we're really looking forward to this wonderful event !!!!

hi Max !!! welcome here, hope you learn a lot about dogs here... I live toghether with two hovawarts, a female (Zora) and her son Bono (he was a pup we decided to keep from Zora's first litter). If everything works out, we'll have a second litter within a few months :lol: :lol: :lol: greetings from Belgium !!!

hello there.... we had a litter almost two years ago and we're planning another one this summer.... this is what we should advice you : she's a bit over protective right now but that will probably get better within a few days when the pups grow older. Take her out on a leash as much as you think is necessary.... feed her outside the box but close enough so she can still see her pups.... about the visit of other people and children : a new mother needs her rest and you have to be aware of the risk of infection. The first two weeks we only admitted our own family near the pups.... When they are a little older you can let other people and children in and start with the socialization.... Good luck and keep us informed !!!

Hoi Kat, we're going to Tilburg..... Not that far away from Belgium.... About an hour and a half from where we live....That's where the other hovawart (his name is Alex) lives.... :wink:

our Zora is in heat since last friday..... And that's wonderful news cause we plan a second litter with her !!!! So next week, we'll go to the Netherlands to visit the stud-dog we've choosen and hope they'll have a romantic and fruitful encounter :loveu: can you all please keep your fingers crossed ????????? :wink:

congratulations !!!! what a relief that everything went well.... hope to see your pictures soon... and I have a little secret to share..... if everything goes well, we'll have a second litter this summer. At least, that's what he hope for !!! But first we have to meet the stud dog next week and hope that he and our girl have a romantic encounter !!!!! keep your fingers crossed please....
