1.
I believe it's a fact around here that good breeders have homes lined up for pups before they are even born...
AND>>>>>its a FACT that people change their minds its a FACT that you may have 8 homes lined up and then have a litter of 10. its a FACT that i had 7 homes lined up then out comes 9 pups IT DOESNT MATTER HOW MANY HOMES ARE LINED UP, PEOPLE CHANGE THEIR MINDS AND OFTEN MORE PUPS ARRIVE.
but yes, you should have had at least POTENTIAL homes lined up for puppies before you even bred your dog
SOOOOOOOOO dont tell me what i should or shouldnt have done before you know the facts!
Of course you did screen for health related issues and you do follow up with your pups for their lives right?
exactly when did this posts subject change??????????????????? I thought it was about an email scam. YOU CAN HAVE YOUR STICK BACK.
 2. Why dont the pups have homes already?? Well, because they just turned 5 weeks! AND i never said i wanted to send the pups to him and i sent him an email saying pay in cash or a US Postal money order because I KNEW i wouldnt hear from him again after that. I was going to keep talking to him and turn him in, but i dont want him having my name or address.
 3. Have you heard of this? Its strange. This guy named Ashadi is asking to buy the remaining pups out of my litter. I have 3 boys left. He has somebody that takes care of the shipping for him. He lives in Oregon. Why would anybody want 3 pups out of the same litter and they are Border Collies too! Its a scam, i just have a gut feeling about this. He wants to send a check for $2500 for the shipping and the pups, and i am to take out my portion for the pups. Whatever!! I bet the check is fake and i will be stuck paying back the bank. What should i do about this? This guy doesnt even ask about the parents or anything, he wanted to see pics and thats about it.
 4. Thanks for the advice!
dont let her go up/down stairs
we live upstairs, so i have no choice with that. We also live in the country on a hill with a river down the hill. Im worried that he may have a seizure by the river and fall in and be swept away. I will always keep a close eye on him and the other eye on my other 3 dogs! He usually eats in the morning, so he probably had some food in his stomach before the walk. I know he was thirsty, being a very very warm day and a long walk. It was about 30 degrees above normal. He seems his usual self today. I did not walk him today even though its in the 50s. Waiting for the vet to call back. Will let you know what he says. thanks again.
 5. My poor Casey. I dont know what happened to him. I think it was a seizure. We went for a walk, like we usually do, and on our way back he dropped to the ground and started jerking and his legs were stiff. This only lasted about 10 or so seconds. He got up and was still doing it for about 3 seconds when he jumped back and looked at me like--What the heck was that?! He acted like nothing happened. I almost called 911--stupid me  Like they would do anything. I have never seen a seizure, so im sure many of you have. Here is a little history on Casey. He is a Border Collie, 6 years old-will be 7 in July. He is not neutered. He is used to exercise. It was pretty warm today, in the 80s. He has never had any other problems, except sometimes he used to burp a lot and act like he had heartburn, but that was checked out and the vet said he was fine, just to switch food. He was not responsive at all during this time. I tried talking to him and felt so helpless. He is my baby. Yes i have 3 other dogs, but Casey is the love of my life. I know i need to call the vet, just want to hear your opinions also. Thanks.
 6. Kyra was okay at first, but then her voice got annoying, kinda like Porky Pig. Her dog Chalcey or however she spells it, was ok, not really good, but then again i am used to Border Collies and the amazing things they do. Is she showing that dog too? I dont remember seeing that part.
 7. Those Aussies were beautiful!!! The blue merle ones look like my Border Collies. That kid, Adam, i think was his name, he was a little loopy. He was eliminated and still wanted to know who beat him
 8. It should be put down. My experience with that type of dog is....if they do it once they will do it again. My sister had one, my neighbors have one that attacked a customer and other dogs. It wasnt once either. It seems to be a changing world, at least around here. Its like the dogs have more rights than humans do. They get too many chances. They should NEVER get a second chance.
 9. If you want BRAINS and BEAUTY then its the BORDER COLLIE! Collies are pretty too! Anything mixed with a collie or Border collie are pretty, because of the collie side! Of course the rough coats.
 10. grrrrrrrrrrrr this gets my goat! Where do these people get off mixing two breeds and charging the price of a nice used car??? or so?? I mean COME ON they are mixed! My purebred litter didnt go for over $350. Even the Cockapoos that have been around awhile do not sell for that much! What in the world makes these dogs priceless?? If you must have a larger dog that doesnt shed then get a Standard Poodle. Your Goldendoodle or Labradoodle or Aussiedoodle will end up looking like one anyways!
rottidoodles, shepradoodles, and huskydoodles.
no way! are you serious?
 11. LOL DO!! Anyway, My female had bigger nipples during heat and of course while she was nursing. They were really big then. It took awhile for them to get down to normal again. Now, they are burried under her fur. They were sagging quite awhile after she was done nursing. Are you dogs nipples sagging at all?
 12.
but the others are all bred down from the Standards which are the original "real" Poodles.
well thats true! I dont have a real poodle, its a toy! LOL
 13. Since all i have are smart dogs, cant help ya much with the dumb part. I do have a stubborn smart dog. He sure can be a pain, but he also helps me with cleaning the house. Yes, he picks up things on the floor and brings them to me. Things that are not suppose to be on the floor. He also dusts the end tables with this tail  He brings me my slippers when i say "my feet are cold". He finds the remote for me THANK GOD! Im ALWAYS LOSING IT! I would also recommend the pinch collar. I have a halti and a pinch and the pinch collar works excellent! I dont use it all the time. Only when we walk on trails where stupid people let there dogs loose, ignoring the "all dogs must be leashed" sign! Hope your ankle is ok
 14.
I was originally shocked to find out that they are the #1 most intelligent breed, followed by #2 BCs and #3 GSDs.
whoaaaaaaaaaa there!! Sorry, but Border Collies have and always will be the smartest breed. They mention that on almost all dog shows when the border is up. Its on many web sites. I know from experience, afterall i own 3 of them. I also own a poodle. The poodle is rated number 2. I can say one thing, its a LONG AZZ way from number one to number two!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
