Hehee... :lol: I love this trhead. ;) Although I hate these poo and oodle mix things. I've even had a question once. A lady told me she's allergic to dogs but was wondering (as I am allergic too) if I knew where to get a Labradoodle. I was like: :o "It's a Labrador+Poodle mix..." She was convinced that it was a new breed. :-? I feel SO sad for these people who fall for this. Although... I must say... It would be fun to have a bichon+crested mix. :lol: (best of both breeds) But *IF* I would get one (and I'm not saying I am) it wouldn't bee a Bichted. :lol:

I'm SOOO glad that you've put the word out Michele! I've read about 17 pages of the DAK thing in NDR. And I can't help thinking that if she's looking for a Great Dane... Then what next? A Chinese Crested? :evil: And the moving from one place to another just makes me mad. And if she ever (EVER!!) comes to live here in Finland then, well... She'll find out that hell is a lot colder then you'd think. :evilbat: But there is one good thing about Finland. No petshops!! :D (I guess Finland has done something right) It's illeagal to sell dogs or cats in shops! But then again... there are BYB's here too... either good, bad or REALLY bad (close to puppymills). So if you really wanted a dog then you could get one here too. But not as easilly as from a petshop.

Has anyone heard from Naomi now lately? I'm just curious. :? And she got me too with this cr*ap. Even so much that she helped me with Bella's sister who's deaf. I forwarded her mails translated to Bella's breeder. That's how much I believed in her! :evil: I'm angry as hell at Naomi! :evil: No dog should go through anything like this! I wonder why she hasn't started breeding. That way she could get puppies and put them to sleep whenever she wants to. :evilbat: But oh yeah... she's against breeding. :roll:

I don't think those are copy-paste pics. I checked them out and they don't vary in pixel size or anything. So [b]IF[/b] they are copy-pastes then they are R-E-A-L-L-Y good! I mean professional. So I'm about 85% sure that they are not mixed with. Contrast/light mabye, but not adding another person in an existing pic. I still feel sickened about this whole thing. The more I read the more I feel sick! :evil: Because of this whole thing I haven't really slept for about 2 nights... :-? I've been thinking of Cody and Zoey and all the other dogs she had. I can't help but feel so... useless... in this matter. I can't do anything to help and it kills me! Helping others is my first instinct (why do you think I'm studying to be a practical nurse) and so not beeing able to is driving me insane. I just hope she never gets another dog. And I [b]STILL[/b] hope there is [b]SOMETHING[/b] that proves that we are wrong and she never did all of these things.

I am just sickened by this now. :evil: I mean fysically sick! My stomache is in knots and I couldn't sleep last night. The "I can't believe it" -feeling has started to fade and now I'm just really p***d off! How the hell could anyone do this?! How could ANYONE adopt dog after dog just to put it to sleep? Oh my God! :o I've missed on so much when I've been gone. I just... can't... I mean... Oh my God! :o Naomi helped me get info about how to care for deaf dogs when I found out that Bella's sister was deaf. Bella is dew-clawed. But I don't know if it really is dew-clawing or not... :? Her breeder removed her "thumbs" (don't know the real name for that one toe that's way higher up then all the others). This I think is an ok thing. This was done directly after birth by a vet. Ben has his "thumbs" and it's sometimes a pain. He's cracked the nail of one thumb a couple times and it's also more difficult to clip those two nails then the rest. But removing all claws... that's a whole different ballgame. And I'm with AAP. I'm totally agains cropping, docking, debarking etc.

Here's my experience. Dogs do NOT bark without a reason. If your dog barks.... Find the reason WHY he barks and deal with it instead of going straight to the vet for surgery. Barking is one of the ways dogs comunicate, take that away and WOW how the dog will be misunderstood by other dogs! I think debarking a dog is cruel and against everything I believe in. Sure Ben and Bella bark, sure I get annoyed sometimes because of it but NO I would never EVER debark them! EVER!! If you're given the choice to either debark a dog or find another home, I'd say FIND ANOTHER HOME. No matter how you feel about it yourself and no matter how much you love your dog. But this is just my oppinion and my beliefs.

Great Dane mix vs. a shitzu?! :o This is rediculous! I mean the shere size difference is gigantic! And 2 litters of mutt puppies without having a single heat in the middle for the dog to rest?! This is just... Aarg! :evil: And you have all the dogs in the YARD (not inside)? You HAVE to get this... if you don't do something, someday you'll end up coming home and finding bodies. I'm not joking. Firstly I say... you have WAY too many dogs. And if you have problems with your Great Dane I can pretty quickly draw the conclusion that you have problems with the rest too. If he has already attacked a Shitzu then atleast he Shitzu is pretty surely afraid of big dogs and fighting for his life. I would suggest that you do this: A. Spay/Neuter ALL your dogs. And don't even think about breeding that Great Dane of yours for money purpouses. B. Even if it seems tough, find new good homes for at least a few of your dogs. If you're taking care of them alone, it's pretty much impossible to give them all the attention they need. They might end up fighting with eachother for your attention aswell. You haven't figured out that that might be re reason for your Great Dane mix escaping? If you really care about your dogs the least you could do is to neuter/spay them ALL! I have neuterd one of my dogs for the only reason of preventing unwanted puppies and passing on his genes. I am going to breed my other dog - Bella this autumn/winter (depending on when she decides to have her next heat). When she gets a bit older and I'm sure I don't want to use her for breeding purpouses anymore I am going to spay her aswell to make sure she can have a long and happy (and healthy) retirement. So I'm not just talking about something that I don't know anything about.
