I have alot of experience with hussy's, (Sheeeeesh!
don't tell anyone!)..... (my girls do that all the time...they bat
their eyes...and look at you so sweet and innocently... (and they
are dogs...literally dogs..rat terriers...) hehehe, so if dogs know
how to flirt ......then it is probably a natural instinct right????????
Hummmmmm...maybe I should pay more attention. Somehow, someway,
these little critters were getting their way...but HOW??? Could
it be?? My rat terrier was flirting with me?? Shamelessly flirting
to get her own way? Nah......couldn't be?? Who would of thought??
So, I watched these little friends of mine.
Wow! What a realization, they were flirting with me...(and their
papa)...to get their own way! What hussies! They would bat their
eyes...YES, I SAID bat their pretty brown eyes. And wiggle their
rears and tails...and run up and give me a kiss! No SHAME, with
these little hussies.....they know all the angles...all the lines...all
the looks....and what can I learn from them????????? ALOT...so,
I too, have mellowed...and learned to play their little game with
their papa! HA!! I guess that old saying, You can get alot further
with honey...is true and perfected by a rat terrier!
Here is what Judy McLellan from California, has to say about her
rat terrier, Chloe....
(and I think it's not just rat terriers that flirt...I am beginning
to think it is all of the animal kingdom!)
Now Annie,
You KNOW the biggest flirt is Chloe. She has her eye on Daggie,
Riley, AND Bogey. Chloe's specialty is the soulful, melting gaze
;-)
Judy
(WOW!!!!! AND SHE even has a specialty...I'm impressed!!)
Shelly (Michelle Heist), a rat terrier breeder from Alabama....has
this to say about her flirting rats....
Willow does the funniest thing. She kind of yodels at me and growls
and wines in my ear. She does this several times a day and I think
it is the cutest thing. Prissy will lay on her back and wiggle staring
at me until I scratch her belly. Jewel will get down on her front
legs with her bottom up in the air wiggling and her tongue hanging
out. It seems like she has a smile on her face.
NOW, I suggest you watch your pet carefully...and see...IF SHE/HE
is a flirt or not!
(HEY! you need a break anyway...so take it!)
